The Herat Customs Officials prevented the import of contraband Medicines!

As a result of the Herat Customs Inspection Department efforts, discovered and seized a large amount of low-quality tablets in an imported shipment of tires, which were illegally wanted to import into the country.
Notably, in the past two years a series of reforms and laws have been enacted to prevent the importation of low-quality and prohibited medicines into the country, according to which the importing companies must be license from the Ministry of Public Health and Afghanistan’s Food and Medicines National Authority.
Meanwhile, the drugs that are legally imported into the country, after the quality analysis and investigation, pass through the customs process and then they are presented to the market.
