The 12-days Training Workshop for Customs Valuation and Tariff managers has began

The 12-day Training Workshop for the managers of the Customs Valuation and Tariff Department began today at the Customs and Revenue Academy.
At the opening of ceremony, Mr. Naqibullah Abed the Director of Valuation, and Mr. Abdulrahman Waqad the Director of Tariff of General Directorate of Customs participated.
The meeting started with some honourable verses of the Holy Quran and the Director of Valuation while explaining the value of Valuation in Customs expressed his happiness that with the efforts of the General Directorate of Customs, the managers of the mentioned departments have been given the opportunity to receive practical and theoretical training in the field of Valuation and Tariff.
They advised the valuation and tariff managers to find solutions in this workshop for all the problems they face in the workplace.
The Director of Tariffs of the General Directorate of Customs in his speech emphasized the importance of valuation and tariffs in collection of national revenue and assured them that through this workshop, in addition to practical training, professional training will also be provided by the professional employees of both departments.
It is mentionable that about 40 managers of the valuation and tariff department of provincial customs have participated in this workshop, In addition to the training of both mentioned sections, they will be fully informed about the relevant legal documents.
