“Customs Affairs Progressed by 25.2% in Aqrab of Current FY1403” – DM of Customs, Revenues

The Deputy Minister of Customs and Revenues of MoF, Alhaj Mufti Abdul Matin Saeed has held ‘technical evaluation meeting’ of the affairs carried out at customs in the month of Aqrab of the year 1403 online and in-person.
In this meeting, a comprehensive report of the activities carried out at the customs in the month of Aqrab of 1403 was presented. In this period, complete information was provided about the collection of revenues; the business conducted at customs, the customs value of imported goods, and the number and registered weight of commercial cargos, , in which the affairs of customs were observed 25.2% positive on the basis of YoY, compared to the same period of the last year.
Likewise, according to the presented report, the customs value of commercial items to Afghanistan has increased by 19.3% based on YoY.
In relation to the presented report, technical discussions were held on all sides, and the obstacles and suggestions of the officials of the provincial customs were heard for the further development of the affairs as officials were assured for removing barriers.
